The Foundation has been hosting Bluegrass concerts at Andalusia for several years.  This event takes place on the front lawn in front of the main house, usually in late October or early November.  The majestic oak trees provide a wonderful canopy for our guests as they set up lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics for several hours of the best Bluegrass music to be heard anywhere.  This has traditionally been an evening event; however, plans are underway to expand the activities to encompass the afternoon and evening.  The main house is always open for tours during the concert, and food is prepared and sold for those who would rather not bring their own.  Details about the concert are posted as News items as soon as a date is set, usually by mid-August.  Admission is $5 per person and there is ample parking behind the main house.  Bluegrass at Andalusia is an event for the whole family, so make plans to join us this year.
