Field trips at
Andalusia
Andalusia is an excellent location for
field trips for students of all ages. We host field trips for
pre-school groups, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, home-school groups and
associations, and students in public and private schools from kindergarten
through college. With the wide range of resources available on the
property, teachers and leaders can choose from several different approaches
to provide an enriching and memorable educational experience for their
students. Field trips can focus on literature, language arts, fine
arts (drawing, painting, photography, etc.), women's studies, social
studies, history, agriculture, botany, zoology, geology, and more.
Teachers may even decide to cover several different areas for lessons across
the curriculum or cross-disciplinary studies. Tours of the main house
and grounds can be incorporated into any field trip; however, teachers are
absolutely welcome to use the property as an outdoor laboratory on their
own. We offer age-appropriate orientations for all ages, even pre-school
groups!
